Is HACCP training a legal requirement in the EU?

Yes. Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 requires food business operators to implement procedures based on HACCP principles and to ensure food handlers receive food-hygiene training appropriate to their work. The exact course format, duration and refresher cycle are set at national or regional level.

Can HACCP training be completed online?
